Process:

1.           You will be assigned to teams of two students

2.           Your party date is this Saturday – Sunday with your hotel reservations covering Saturday night.

3.           You will need to answer the following questions:

a.      How many people will you invite?

b.     Who will you invite?

c.      How will you present your information?

4.           Choose your role and follow the questions regarding your person.  A worksheet and all your resources to find information will be located under your role name.  You must completely fill out the worksheet before you collaborate information with your partner.

5.           After you have completed your worksheet and have brought all your information together you must narrow down what you want to do and how much it will cost.  Remember, whatever activities you decide to do (including travel costs, hotel, food, entertainment) the total cost must be within your $300 budget.

You need to decide on your transportation and find out the route needed.  If you are having a parent drive you need to create a map on mapquest following the route to each activity.  If you are taking the bus you need to use the bus schedule to find out where and when the bus picks up and drops off.  You will also have to find out how many transfers you will have to make.  If you are taking a limo you need to find a map on mapquest and estimate the time it will take you to travel from each place and then adjust the cost accordingly.

6.           Fill out the partner worksheet with your final decisions and maps.

7.           Take all the information you have decided on and create an aesthetically pleasing display (either brochure, poster, or slide show).  Remember, this needs to convince your parents that you have researched every possible situation and you will not exceed your budget.

8.           Hand in your worksheets, any notes or other information you have taken to complete this investigation along with your final product.
